Robert Houston DDS
Founder Dentist
Dr. Robert Houston affectionately referred to as 'Dr. Bob' by his patients, established this practice in the year 1974. He founded the current practice at Thamesford immediately after completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery Program from Western University.

Professionally, Dr. Houston has been a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Oxford Dental Society & Emergency Services for Oxford County since 1974. He was awarded the Melvin Jones fellowship in the year 2009 for his outstanding contributions.
​
Dr. Houston loves interacting with his patients and over the years he has earned the love of families spanning generations. He has been a highly valued member of the Thamesford community. He is an active member of the Thamesford Business Association. He has contributed to many causes the most important being the 'Main Street Beautification Project'.
​
Dr. Houston and his wife Joan have 4 sons and 6 grandchildren. In his spare time, he loves to work around his farm and spend time with family, especially with his adorable grandchildren. You can occasionally find him at the wood lot of their family woodworking business, Kintore Custom Hardwoods.
Dilraaj Sandhu DDS MDS
Principal Dentist
Dr. Dilraaj Sandhu is a graduate of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Passionate about providing her patients with healthy, natural-looking smiles, she is also a post-graduate in Prosthodontics from India – a dental specialty focusing on replacing missing teeth with dentures, crown/bridges, and restoring implants.

Dr. Sandhu is known for her friendly demeanour, gentle touch and clean artistic hand. She takes the time to communicate with patients and answer every question. She is empathetic when treating patients who experience dental anxiety and focuses on personalized care through a warm and friendly approach.

Dr. Sandhu is married to Dr Puneet Bhatnagar & is a mother to 2 beautiful kids . When not working, Dr. Sandhu takes delight in raising her young children. Together, the family loves traveling and exploring new places.

Puneet Bhatnagar DDS MBA
Principal Dentist
Dr. Puneet Bhatnagar, just like Dr. Houston & Dr. Sandhu, is a graduate of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario.​ He enjoys all aspects of clinical dentistry & has a special interest in surgical procedures. He has completed the NobelFellow Implant training & a MiniResidency in Implant Prosthetics with Nobel Biocare. He believes in the kind of dentistry that keeps the patient's well being at the center point of the treatment plan.
​
Dr. Bhatnagar is also an MBA graduate and has completed an executive program at the renowned Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. This experience has helped him in understanding the challenges of improving healthcare access and delivery.
He looks forward to contributing to the practice and the community in a meaningful manner.​
Outside of work, he loves to spend time with his family & friends. He enjoys outdoor sports & fitness activities & reading non-fiction books on Science & Medicine.
Karin Noble RDH, CDA
Registered Dental Hygienist
Karin is a Registered Dental Hygienist and strives to provide optimal oral care for all her patients. Joining our practice in July of 2021, she brings 18 years of dental hygiene experience in the specialty of periodontics (gum/bone health), as well as eleven years of general practice experience (working as both a dental hygienist and dental assistant). Patients describe Karin’s clinical technique as gentle but thorough. Happy to have found a job much closer to home and enjoying meeting many of her neighbours through her work, Karin is loves being part of a committed team at Thamesford Village Dental.
A native of Windsor Ontario, Karin completed her training in Dental Hygiene at St. Clair College in 1995.
Outside of the the office Karin enjoys horses, her border collie “Jazz,” playing the piano, spending time at the family cottage, and ministering to people, alongside her husband who is a Pastor.
At the time of this posting, Karin and her husband have a teenage son, an adult son, and daughter (and son-in-law), and are excited about becoming grandparents in the very near future!
Mary Catherine RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
Mary Catherine is a 2008 graduate from Fanshawe College Dental Hygiene Program and is currently licensed with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.

Mary Catherine has many years of dental experience and is here to help you along your journey to a beautiful and healthy smile! She is dedicated to her patients and loves being part of such a great group of dental professionals at Thamesford Village Dental.

She is a stepmother to 3 amazing kids and shares a country home with her soul mate, Joe.
​
When not in the office helping patients maintain their oral health, she enjoys traveling, gardening, playing volleyball, and has a passion for arts.
Christine Ross CDA II
Certified Dental Assistant Level II
Christine graduated from Everest College as a Certified Dental Assistant Level II. Her career in the world of dentistry spans over eleven years. At the start of her dental career, she enjoyed being part of Dr. Houston's team. Now, she's back and is thrilled to be a member of Dr. Sandhu’s team.

Christine has a particular love for helping patients through their dental treatment. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail have been most welcomed and appreciated by patients of Thamesford Village Dental.
​
Christine and her husband Dave have two children together. When Christine isn’t busy working, you can find her cheering on her kids at their sporting events. She also enjoys the outdoors and spending time up north with her family, camping, fishing, boating, and swimming. She also plays in the Thamesford Volleyball League where you can find her playing in the sand with her friends during the summer.
Cheryl Thornton CDA II
Certified Dental Assistant Level II
Cheryl is the newest dental assistant at Thamesford Village Dental. Cheryl is proud to be a life long resident of Thamesford and loves being able to give back to her community.

Her favorite aspect of working in dentistry is seeing the improvement in the health of her patients.
​
Cheryl is a wife and a mother of two wonderful boys.

When free she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, friends, and her 2 sons.
Janis Loney
Office Manager
Janis has been the face of Thamesford Village Dental since the start of the practice in 1974!
